Instructors should apply for a library card or ID and PIN (if you don’t already have this). You can do this by going directly to Koerner Library with your confirmation of appointment and arrange for library access. You should also bring along a piece of picture ID. If you are teaching from a distance and do not come to campus, and are listed in the Human Resources Database of Staff and Faculty, then you may apply for your card by completing this online form. Once you have a UBC Library Card, and a Campus Wide Login (CWL), then you can set up a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Connecting to the UBC Library through a VPN allows you to access the licensed databases and indexes.
